Active beta, with the limits stated plainly.

ForgeDITA is in active beta. Review completed foundations, current evaluation work, limitations, and the boundary between beta and general availability.

ForgeDITA is in active beta for controlled evaluation. Completed MVP foundations and core API, web UI, deployment packaging, import, conformance-publication, and editor-integration work retain their accepted scope. Release-candidate acceptance remains in progress; these technical foundations do not establish production readiness.

Last reviewed: October 29, 2026. The latest attempt of CI run 40809721638 at candidate 4426d2cfb810 succeeded, including Core regression, Admin Portal browser acceptance, Postgres checks, deployment contract, and conformance publication. Hosted identity-provider smoke was skipped. This is technical evidence for the executed scopes, not formal release-candidate acceptance.

The latest documented QA disposition still has security/conformance acceptance open. Deployment and performance acceptance, independent customer onboarding, and the final beta-candidate decision also remain to be completed or formally accepted.

Beta is not general availability or production release approval. ForgeDITA does not claim universal DITA 1.3 support, DITA 2.0 support, independent security certification, or complete contextual resolution for every specialization and profile combination.
